Brainstorm
Generate varied ideas suited to constraints and goals.
When to use it
Use this to generate varied options for a problem and then shortlist feasible ones.
Useful inputs
- Problem or goal
- Audience
- Time, budget, and scope limits
Instruction
Generate distinct ideas, then shortlist by novelty and feasibility with a one-sentence explanation each.
Example input
Goal: Help new members get started with the product. Audience: Small teams. Limit: Ideas testable in two weeks without developer work.
Example result
1. Offer a sample workspace on first visit — low effort and fast feedback. 2. Send a three-step onboarding email — easy to test, requires email permission. 3. Add a progress indicator — measurable benefit, needs design work.
Common pitfall
Do not pad the list with renamed versions of the same idea; make each option meaningfully distinct.
